Celebrity Baby Names
Starting with Letter "G"

Artists are creative by nature and often give their children quite creative names! Some are traditional, some unique, and some are, well, just down right weird. It doesn't really matter at the end of the day for these kids, though, because for the most part they were dealt a pretty good hand in life considering the wealth and stature of their respective parent(s).

Check out some of the interesting names celebs have given their children. Click on a block or drag the slider to select the first initial of the celebrity's first name.

  • Benjamin Rein Brady
    Benjamin Rein Brady
Super-est of all supermodels Gisele Bündchen has finally decided to share some of that God-given DNA of hers along with her tall and handsome football star husband Tom Brady (I think we can speculate that these kids will be even more gorgeous than the Brangelina brood). The couple has a son born on April 5, 2009. They named him Benjamin Rein Brady (the middle name is in honor of Gisele’s grandfather Reinaldo). Ben Brady, simple and cute. It’s also being speculated that Gisele is pregnant with her second child but this has yet to be confirmed. Tom Brady has a son from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan (John Edward Thomas Moynahan).
  • Edward Duke Rancic
    Edward Duke Rancic
Seriously, can this couple get any cuter? For any of you who follow “Giuliana and Bill” (the couple’s reality TV show on the Style Network) then you’re well informed of their string of tragedies and disappointments. All of which they handle with poise and grace, and a surprisingly amount of upbeat and positive attitudes. Yes, they are both good-looking and successful, but life for them hasn’t exactly been a picnic lately. Giuliana battled breast cancer and together they went through failed attempts at pregnancy and IVF. It’s entirely impossible not to root for this charmingly honest couple who are just down-right good, solid people. Their dreams came true on August 29, 2012 when their son Edward Duke Rancic was born via surrogacy. They named him Edward after the baby's paternal and maternal grandfathers (Edward and Eduardo, respectively). It seems they may be using Duke as the boy's everyday name. Duke is, of course, a title of nobility and means "leader".
  • Kingston and Zuma Nesta Rossdale
    Kingston and Zuma Nesta Rossdale
Gwen Stefani and British grunge musician Gavin Rossdale have two sons. Kingston James McGregor Rossdale was born in 2006 and in 2008 they named their second son Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale. Since Gwen is a pretty influential trend-setter among her fans, we were not surprised to see her almost single-handedly impact the usage of the name Kingston across America. However, new parents have yet to catch onto the whacky name Zuma Nesta and we can't exactly blame them. A kid named Zuma Nesta running around some privileged private school in Hollywood probably flies. But can you picture a Zuma Nesta in, say, Topeka, Kansas? We think not.
  • Apple and Moses Martin
    Apple and Moses Martin
If you don't know the names of Gwyneth Paltrow's kids then we suspect you've been living under a rock. Paltrow is in one of those superstar celebrity marriages since her husband is British rocker Chris Martin (with the band Coldplay). This girl can act, and that guy can sing…but naming babies? Um, not so much. After releasing the name of their first child, a daughter Apple Blythe Alison Martin (b. May 2004), the couple was subjected to much mockery and ridicule. Paltrow tried to explain herself on Oprah: “It sounded so sweet and it conjured such a lovely picture for me – you know, apples are so sweet and they're wholesome and it's biblical – and I just thought it sounded so lovely and … clean! And I just thought, 'Perfect!'" Sounds a little defensive, but ok. Their second kid arrived in April 2006, a son who they named Moses Bruce Anthony Martin (after a song Martin wrote for Paltrow called “Moses”). Look, we get it. Her daughter is the “Apple” of her eye, but this one is going down in the annals of Hollywood baby naming lore.
